Does getting your hair cut often affect hair growth?

I have heard that if you cut your hair often, your hair will grow faster. And that's why, the people that never cut their hair, have hair grow slowly.

Is this true?

Hair grows from the root, not the ends, so cutting your hair doesn't make your hair grow faster.

That being said, trimming your hair cuts the split ends off so your hair can grow strong. So it doesn't make your hair grow faster, just healthier.

No it isn't true. But if you get your hair trimmed it will look much better and I think that led to the myth.

It doesn't make your hair grow any faster, only hormones do that. But it can affect the thickness.
